THE 13TH RITE – The Rite for the Womb
“The Womb is not a place for fears and pain. The Womb is to create and give birth to life.”
Womb is suited around the Sacral chakra (energy centre or wheel in our energy field). In simple words, the Sacral is the one of our source for creativity, pleasure, flowing with life like water.
When the Sacral chakra is in healthy condition, we have the ability to experience pleasure, nurturing of self and others, ability to change and have healthy boundaries.
When the Sacral chakra is unhealthy, one may have poor social skills, Lack of desire, passion, excessive boundaries, obsessive attachment or addiction, etc. All these negative thoughts and emotions would develop fears and energetically, it would be held in the physical body, like the womb.
The Womb is where all humans are born where life begins from the womb. It is our life source and the place where the creation starts.
“What we think is what we create.”
When we change the way we live, we think, we do, we say, we change our world.
Hence, as we heal the wounds in the womb (where it is interconnected to your mother and your family lineage), we break free from the old conditioning and beliefs. We regain our empowerment to create our reality.

THE FIRST FOUNDATION RITE OF MUNAY-KI
Rite One: Healer’s Rite OR ‘Hampe Rite’ (standing or sitting)
In the Healer Rite, initiate is connected to the lineage of luminous beings from the past, who come to assist them in their personal transformation. It awakens the healing power in the initiate’s hands so that everyone they touch is blessed. There is tremendous spiritual assistance available and these luminous ones work in our sleep to heal the wounds of the past and of our ancestors.
THE MEDITATION STEPS
After you are initiated to the Rites, you are connected to the energies of that individual Rite, the lineage and the keepers (spirits) of that Rite. Hence, we could call upon the spirits of that individual Rite to come forth to assist us, to heal or seek insights in certain areas of our life that we need guidance.
- Find a place or a space where you could meditation.
- Relax your body tensions, quieting your mind and thoughts. Focus on your breathing.
- Within you (not necessarily to say it out), recite these lines:
“Pachamama, Pachapapa, Spirits of the Apus and Keepers of Healer’s Rite.
Assist me in my healing process or strengthen my energy field.
(you can set your intention for your meditation. Traditionally, the Shamans mediate to ‘know’, no need to set intention.) “
The Munay-Ki meditations are traditionally done in the nature where we connect our physical bodies to Mother Earth (Pachamama) and all creation. In the modern society, as our lifestyles diverse from the traditional ways of living, we mediate in spaces at one’s convenience. What is Palo Santo?
Palo Santo (Bursera graveolens) is known as Holy Wood in Spanish. The Tree belongs to the same family of the frankincense and myrrh. Aged heartwood is rich in terpenes such as limonene and α-terpineol, has sweet notes of pine, mint and lemon. It inhabits the coastal region of Ecuador.
The wood is harvested sustainably in Manabi Province, under the Proyecto de Reforestación de Palo Santo. The sale of the product help fund the reforestation project in Puerto Lopez Country. In Ecuador, it’s against the law to remove or cur down palo santo trees. Only dead wood can be harvested.
What makes Palo Santo magical, is that it must be harvested only when the branch has fallen. In order for Palo Santo to gain its magical and medicine properties it must die naturally and remain in its natural habitat for 4 to 10 years for the wood to cure, and the oils to complete its metamorphosis.
