ONE Resonance . ONE Heart
All posts serve the purposes to build a nurturing and supportive community that we can best empower ourselves to walk this path together with integrity, respect and practicality. Blessings to All. Munay.
Using a variety of musical instruments (e.g. Tank drum, dream bells, Shamanic drum, African drum, rattles, Crystal Tones® Singing bowls), most of the songs were recorded during the MUNAY-KI initiation ceremonies for individuals to listen while meditating to deepen their experiences with the Rites. All the tracks were recorded at different timing and space with divine guidance. All songs connect to the essence of the hearts and awake the remembrance within all; raising the collective consciousness that we can best empower ourselves to walk the journey together with LOVE.
Awakening Hearts . Connecting Hearts
MUANY-KI Rite Three – Harmony Rite
In the Harmony Rite, seven different Archetypes are transmitted in the chakras. The transmission of these archetypes assists the initiate to connect with the power of each archetype and connect with the organising principles of the Universe and our own energy centres. Initiates are connected to the serpent, jaguar/puma; hummingbird; eagle/condor; Keeper of the Lower World (our unconscious); Keeper of the Middle World (our waking world) and the Protector of the Upper World (our super conscious). It is important that the initiates do some journeys to connect to the Keeper’s of the Lower and Upper Worlds.
After the transmission of the rites, the initiate needs to connect to each Archetype individually for a period of at least two weeks each (this will depend on your level of awareness, connection etc – some archetypes you may spend longer with than others). To connect, the initiate opens sacred space with ‘fire’ (i.e.: candle) and calls in the Archetype. Every day for two weeks, the initiate connects to the Archetype and asks for guidance and the sharing of their wisdom and gifts. At the end of the two weeks, the initiate closes out the Archetype and calls in the next Archetype – you only work with one archetype at a time. The whole process takes around 14 weeks. If the initiate does not feel they connected to an Archetype, they can call them in again.

THE MEDITATION STEPS
“Pachamama, Pachapapa, Spirits of the Apus and Keepers of Harmony Rite.
Assist me in my healing process or strengthen my energy field.
(you can set your intention for your meditation. Traditionally, the Shamans mediate to ‘know’, no need to set intention.) “
The Munay-Ki meditations are traditionally done in the nature where we connect our physical bodies to Mother Earth (Pachamama) and all creation. In the modern society, as our lifestyles diverse from the traditional ways of living, we mediate in spaces at one’s convenience. Following is the recording of the drumming for the deepening meditation for Harmony Rite. Relax and listen to the audio track as you meditate.
MUNAY
SERPENT – 1st Chakra (coccyx) –
Mother of the Waters and has been the archetype of the healer throughout many cultures. It is the one who teaches us to shed our personal past the way she sheds her skin – the primary life force, the one who dives deep, deep – who knows the way into the deepest places inside of ourselves – the One who walks with beauty on the belly of the Mother – the One who knows the way back to the Garden, the place of innocence. Connection with the feminine.
JAGUAR/PUMA – 2nd Chakra (sacral) –
is the Mother-Sister Jaguar who knows the way across the rainbow bridge to the world of mystery – the One who swallows the dying sun, teaching us to step beyond fear, violence and death. The archetypal connection to the life force of the jungle, everything that is green; steward of the life force – Luminous Warrior who has no enemies in this world or the next – represents the Life/Death principle and renewal.
HUMMINGBIRD (ANCIENT ONES) – 3rd Chakra (solar plexus) –
the ancestors, Grandmothers and Grandfathers, ancient memories, ancient wisdom – the Ones who have stepped outside of time but slip through the curtain to help us remember the ancient ways – the way of the Hummingbird who drinks directly from the nectar of life – not built for flight yet undertakes and accomplishes the impossible journey. Teaches us to live life fully.
CONDOR OR EAGLE – 4th Chakra (heart) –
the great archetype of the East, the place of the rising Sun, the place of our becoming –principle of seeing from high perspective, vision of clarity and beauty, the great wings of the condor hold the heart, teaches us to see with the eyes of the heart – the One who pushes us out of the nest to spread our own wings so that we may always fly wing to wing with the Great Spirit.
HUASCAR/KEEPER OF THE LOWER WORLD – 5th Chakra (throat) –
Lord of Life, Lord of Death. Historically, one of the two sons of the last Inca. Huascar was the keeper of the medicine teachings and was killed by his brother who then banded together with the Spanish. He became the harmonising principle of the Lower World – the chaotic dark place of all creative potential. He is the re-newer of the earth and our own personal need of renewing our own earth, fields that are fallow, places that need aerating. The gift of Huascar is to harmonise our relationship with our shadow.
QUETZALCOATL/KEEPER OF THE MIDDLE WORLD – 6th Chakra (third eye) –
Lord of the Dawn, the Day bringer, Morning Star. Brings harmony and order. Quetzal is a beautiful jungle bird and Coatl is a serpent. A feathered, winged serpent that has acquired flight, the organiser of the middle world, brought irrigation, medicine plants and stonework, walked the Americas, brought stability, music, dance, flutes, drums – though it has been lost in our culture, we can call on it individually, an animistic knowledge of the ways of the Earth. When you come into relationship with Quetzalcoatl you don’t have to micro-manage your life.
PACHAKUTI/PROTECTOR OF THE UPPER WORLD – 7th Chakra (crown) –
Connection with the time to come. Historically, the Inca King who was given the prophecy that the world was turning over (coming of the Spanish) the keeper of the possibilities, organising principle of the Upper World; – embodies the concept of the circular time, stepping outside linear time – makes time stand still – brings order, heavenly order – coming into relationship with Pachakuti allows us to recognise what can be changed and changing it before it is born.
